![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously, I humbly think that Calibre would in the long term gain a lot of new users by simply fixing these 2 small but important things I mean I have thousands of epub and they all show the same not very nice brown icon instead of showing the cover of my books which would again make my life so so much better. Once you've done that (or even if you didn't) why on earth the Calibre Viewer (or main program) doesn't display the cover of the book on the windows thumbnail like Acrobat does for pdf? Wow, I will remember that day all my life, everything got so simple all of a sudden. So why on earth the calibre viewer is not the default when we double click on a mobi or epub ? After 5 years of using Calibre and getting tired of always having my epubs/mobi added to Calibre instead of just opening, I started to search the forums and eventually someone explained to me that I should associate my epub/mobi with the viewer instead of the main calibre program. Let's face it, what do 99% of Calibre users primarily want ? They want to read their epub and mobi just like they read their pdf with Acrobat. Calibre is a great great piece of software but I have 2 things to say and I will say them. ![]()
